Résumé

Hello there! I guess you got my name already.

Yes, I am a South American looking guy. My parents are originally from Venezuela and, fortunately, this gave me the opportunity of growing up in a tropical country where not only you can see beautiful women, and pay a cheap price for gas, but also you can enjoy a perfect weather throughout the year.

I have edited this site aiming to publish the works I have done during my academic career and thus share my thoughts with those of you who may feel motivated to either read them, or share similar materials with the rest of the world.

To be more specific, I am trying to built up a collection of materials that will attract your attention, while entertaining your senses, and perhaps pursue you to connect those ideas waving in your brain with those I sharing in here. But first I must alert you that my style is simple as it intends not to copy anyone's ideas; what I am doing I am doing i taking in to consideration that what ever I learn anything from my readings and interaction with others, I must include references to those quotes. Yet, I promise I my effort will be to to provide you with professional, extensive writings that will try to avoid using  offensive language,  biased concepts and vague explanations, and will each individual file will be carefully reviewed prior to uploading them to this side.

In theory, this project is relatively young to contribute with scientific evidence. Nevertheless, my work contains substantial support on the researches I have used to accomplish the tasks of writing on each of the issues I discuss. Those topics that cannot be verified by previous investigations, will be explained in terms of case studies, and results will be given as coming from one or more subjects who participated in such investigation. Again, reference will be included for each of these cases.

On my childhood

In 1981 my parents flew to New York to accompany my grandmother (my mother's mother) who was going to have surgery in this city. Fortunately, as many say, my mother was pregnant and she just had to decide to have me during her visit to the city. Both my dad and mom decide to vote for the opportunities that will carry having a child born in the US.

My parent arrived in New York on May, 1981, and left on November of the same year. That means that I was only 1 month old when I arrived to Caracas, Venezuela.

Details on my education could be found here.

On my adolescence

My generation's adolescence was ruled by the pushing to understand, accept and assimilate Junior and High School regardless of what one think or cannot do.

On my adulthood

Graduation from High School was next door when i told my dad that my interest was to come to New York to complete a college degree. I never had the idea of living in this city before, I just wanted to come to study over here but never made the connection that coming to America involved having to live and become an American somehow. I guess I was too Venezuelan, and school's patriotism was still in my mind during the first years after my arrival.

A family at the end

College, my endless goal

Work, debts and limitations
